History of the Consulate General

In 1968 an Honorary Consulate for Lebanon was established in Melbourne.

In 1978 it was replaced with a career Consulate.

In 1982 the Lebanese Cabinet of Ministers decided to raise the representation level in Melbourne to a Consulate-General and a decree was issued to that effect on 25/3/1983.

Following are the details of all the Consuls who took charge of the consulate since 1968 until now.
